Employee Spotlight: Greg Dahlke, Project Manager

May 27th, 2020

A successful Project Manager must manage a schedule, maintain quality standards and build relationships. At Centra, Greg Dahlke excels at all three — adding a “get it done” attitude to every task.

Even as projects in Maple Grove and Dayton begin to wind down, activity is picking up in Brooklyn Center and Coon Rapids. While managing four projects at once may seem overwhelming, it’s just another day at the office for Centra Homes Project Manager Greg Dahlke.

Despite a global pandemic, it’s been a busy spring for Centra and Dahlke has been a key driver of his firm’s success. As Project Manager he’s tasked with managing everything from pre-construction meetings to final hand-off to the Warranty Team. In a normal year this can be a challenge; in 2020 new safety protocols have added countless changes to daily routines.

Vice President of Construction Dave Ruhland credits the wisdom of Dahlke’s 40+ years of experience as a key driver of his success in these unusual times

“Greg has been with us since the beginning and his experience, attitude and approach have served him well. He’s one of our best.”

— Dave Ruhland, VP of Construction, Centra Homes

From managing relationships with subcontractors to keeping the job site safe, Dahlke has been instrumental in keeping Centra on track. His efforts are bearing fruit as Centra has kept seven projects in flight and seen robust sales across communities.

Centra Homes President Dale Wills says that Dahlke is one of many success stories he’s seen in 2020 as his entire team has continued to keep things moving, despite the obstacles.

“I am proud to say that our employees have faced every challenge and found solutions. Greg is a great example of this — a team member who does right by our clients and makes coming to work both safe and fun.” — Dale Wills, President and Founder, Centra Homes
