Sturm Joins Centra Team
August 6th, 2019
Twin Cities-based Centra Homes, the North Metro’s preeminent homebuilder, today announced the addition of Adam Sturm to the team. Sturm, a fourteen-year veteran of residential construction, will serve as a Project Manager and has initially been assigned manage projects in Otsego and Albertville.
New Project Manager – Adam Sturm
Sturm joins Centra following a career in residential construction that includes serving a variety roles for custom homebuilders including Lead Carpenter and Foreman. Centra Construction Manager David Ruhland will serve as Sturm’s manager and is excited about the latest member to join his team.
“Adam is a great fit for Centra. He combines strong leadership experience with industry knowledge and the right temperament for the job,” says Ruhland.
The addition of Sturm marks the latest in a series of moves that point to continued growth at Centra. Growth that has seen the firm surpass $250 million in new construction since 2011 with projects spanning more than two dozen metro suburbs.
Centra President Dale Wills credits finding and engaging the right people (like Sturm) as the fuel for the firm’s growth.
“We have a lot of dedicated folks all working together,” says Wills, “it makes coming to work fun and hitting our numbers much easier.”
Perhaps no project speaks to the growth at Centra Homes quite as well as Sturm’s initial assignment at Arbor Creek. This ambitious community in Otsego includes plans for 100 new homes and represents a size and scale that may not have been feasible for Centra only a few years ago.
However, with a growing team and an approach that strives to build long term relationships with city developers, Centra has found a recipe for sustainable growth. A recipe that has strong employees as a central ingredient.
“We are excited to add new team members like Adam that are committed to the communities they serve.”
