Waconia Minnesota Development Sold Out

Centra Homes is pleased to announce that it has sold its last remaining Home in the Legacy Village in Waconia Minnesota. Centra Homes originally purchased 60 bank-owned lots in 2012 in what had become a distressed housing development.

“Legacy Village vastly exceeded our expectations, selling out about a year ahead of what we had anticipated,” says Centra Homes Founder & President Dale Wills.

Legacy Village is another example of how Centra Homes is able to step into a neglected development and invest its time and resources to get a community back on track. Centra Homes cleaned up the neighborhood, removed debris and fixed the existing monument signage. The company also planted about 100 new trees, added new fencing and helped to start a new homeowners association. 

“Once the neighborhood was cleaned up, people recognized the very attractive location and very nice homes,” says Wills.

Waconia was voted as the best city in Minnesota for young families, and Centra Homes built spacious two-story single family homes that were designed to fit the needs of the family-oriented neighborhood. The homes range in size from four to six bedrooms with an option of three- or four-stall garages. Legacy Village has the added advantage of being located next to Lake Waconia, the second largest lake in the metro area. 
 

“Waconia is a nice community with a lot of nearby amenities and good access to work and entertainment in the Twin Cities, and we gave people a lot of home for a good price,” says Wills.
