Here you’ll find a variety of wild bird feeding areas and gardens. The visitor center has canoes, kayaks, snowshoes & kicksleds for rent.
Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Park Reserve
This park is one of the largest in the area at over 5,000 acres, and contains an abundance of wildlife and water resources. Amenities here include picnic areas, boat launch facilities, a fishing pier, playgrounds, biking and hiking trails, and campgrounds.
Chomonix Golf Course
Play relaxing golf in a natural setting on this 18-hole course, perfect for all ages and abilities.
Fat Tire Biking
Currently a pilot program, 3.2 kilometers of trail in Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Park Reserve has been converted to accommodate winter fat tire biking. Get out and enjoy winter!
Fete des Lacs – Festival of Lakes
An annual celebration to honor the city and the lakes! Includes a parade, softball tournament, live music, dancing, food and fireworks.
Waldoch Farm
This family-run garden center is so much more than a place to buy plants and vegetables! They pride themselves on experience-based education, and offer activities such as the Honey Bee Experience, Sunflower Festival, corn maze, pumpkin patch, and a chance to meet the animals at Joyer’s Barnyard.
Wargo Fall Festival
An annual event to celebrate all things fall, such as apple cider, corn maze, pumpkin patch, pioneer games, and more.
Blue Heron Days
